No shortage of paracetamol, drugs for flu: DOH

The Department of Health released a statement saying there is no shortage of paracetamol and other drugs for the flu. The concerns came after the recent surge in cases, so they reminded the public to avoid panic buying.

The department said they are currently monitoring the supply of “critical medicines for COVID-19” and working with the Food and Drug administration and the trade department to secure medicines for coronavirus treatment.

Pharmaceutical firm Unilab said some of their brands are out of stock, but this is mostly due to the unexpected demand. They are currently working with their partners to accelerate replenishment.
