Hong Kong Disneyland reopens amid new anti-COVID-19 measures

Hong Kong Disneyland reopened on February 19 with new anti-epidemic measures to protect visitors.

With COVID-19 in the city gradually improving, Disneyland reopened again after a third closure was instituted on December 2, 2020.

Visitor Kathryn Eusuya shared, “I am here with my friends to celebrate the reopening of Disneyland.”

For now, the popular theme park will be open to visitors five days a week. It is closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, except for public holidays and special days designated by the company.

All visitors are required to book the tickets in advance. When entering the park, visitors are asked to pass a temperature check, wear masks, and register relevant information on the “Leave Home Safe” mobile application.

Hong Kong Disneyland’s first closure came on January 26, 2020, during the early days of the pandemic. It then reopened on June 18, before shuttering again on July 15 and reopening again on September 25.
