International airlines are expected to resume their China flights in late April after extending the suspension period of their operations due to COVID-19.

Delta Air Lines has temporarily suspended its operations to China since February 6 and will relaunch them on April 30. The airline was operating 42 weekly flights between the U.S. and China.

American Airlines and United Airlines have also extended its flight suspension to the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong to late April.

British Airways has also canceled all its flights to the Chinese mainland and it does not anticipate operating flights to either Beijing or Shanghai before April.

The visa application centers in foreign embassies and consulates in China have been gradually reopening since February 10.
