Lawmakers accused of alleged corruption involving infrastructure projects denied claims against them.
The list was submitted by the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission and read by the President in a speech aired on December 28.
Isabela 4th District Representative Alyssa Sheena Tan, said: “there is absolutely no truth” in the allegations against her.
In a Facebook post, she denied owning a construction company awarded infrastructure projects in her district.
She added, “I have never owned any construction company. I do not have any shares in any construction company. This truth can easily be verified by the PACC by simply checking and validating with the concerned government agencies that they surely have access to.”
The lawmaker said she is willing to cooperate with the PACC with its investigation, adding, “I will most indulgently cooperate and provide any information to the PACC to help them with any further investigation. The truth will prevail.”
