NCOV UPDATE 6/30

As of 6 p.m. on June 30, there were over 182 million coronavirus cases globally, with the death toll reaching 3.9 million, according to John Hopkins University. The good news is that there are over 167 million recoveries.

The United States is leading the world in both COVID-19 infections and fatalities, with over 34 million confirmed cases and some 620,000 deaths.

The U.S. drug regulator FDA on Friday added a warning to the literature that accompanies Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine shots, indicating the rare risk of heart inflammation after its use.

More than 3 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered across the world, according to the latest data from Johns Hopkins University.

China has provided over 450 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines to nearly 100 countries, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi told a G20 foreign ministers’ conference.
