NCOV UPDATE 6/14

As of 5 p.m. on June 14, there were over 176 million coronavirus cases globally, with the death toll reaching 3.8 million, according to John Hopkins University. The good news is that there are over 160 million recoveries.

The United States is leading the world in both COVID-19 infections and fatalities, with over 34 million confirmed cases and over 615,000 deaths.

The Group of Seven on Sunday vowed to donate one billion coronavirus vaccine doses to poorer countries.

Saudi Arabia announced it will limit the upcoming Hajj season to domestic pilgrims only of a maximum of 60,000 individuals due to the global COVID-19 outbreaks and the new virus mutations.

The Mayor of Moscow announced a ‘non-working’ week from June 15 to 19 in the Russian capital and other measures to curb the spread of coronavirus infections amid a sluggish vaccination campaign.
